I am a political philosopher at the Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE), Erasmus University Rotterdam, writing a PhD-thesis on the influence social norms have on market processes and market institutions.

My most recent academic publication is a paper on the politics of privatization.

My research is in political philosophy and business ethics. I think and write about markets, the firm, efficiency, transaction costs, corporate governance and competition, among other things. I am also interested in political anarchism and questions surrounding market socialism.

I think public philosophy and public debates in general are very important. I have published pieces and given interviews in media outlets such as Trouw, NRC Handelsblad, de Volkskrant, Nederlands Dagblad, Het Parool, De Groene Amsterdammer, HP/DeTijd, Jacobin NL, HUMAN, and Radio 1 Nieuwsweekend.

Ik ben politiek filosoof bij het Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE), Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, waar ik een dissertatie schrijf over hoe sociale normen marktprocessen en marktinstituten beinvloeden.
